黔驴技穷！唐朝大文学家柳宗元写了一篇文章，名叫三戒黔之驴，文章里说贵州没有驴子，有个人好奇地用船把一头驴子运到贵州。可是驴子在贵州没有什么用处，那人就把驴子放在山脚下，让它自己吃草。山上有只老虎，因为从来没有见过驴子，见他个头大，心里有点害怕。老虎不敢接近驴子，躲得远远的观察着，忽然驴子大叫了一声，老虎以为要来吃它，吓得拔脚就逃。后来老虎又来观察一阵，发觉他只是吃草，并不发狠，于是他壮着胆子慢慢地像驴子靠拢。驴子见老虎走进金黄的踢了两脚，再没有什么动作了，这家伙原来并不厉害，我怎么会害怕它呢？于是老虎猛扑上去，一口咬断了驴子的喉咙，饱餐了一顿，成语黔驴技穷，比喻有限的一点本领已经用完，再没有什么高招了。。
